Clay keeps me constantly connected to earth. Shaping the clay from nothing to something is an addiction I possess since childhood. My process is strictly intuitive. I am a story teller.
Inspiration for my sculptures/installation stems from my longstanding curiosity of human behavior, my observation of daily life and the funny ways of society, the mystical past of our ancestors i.e. the folklores and legends and my spiritual self. Thus, my works are a symbolic representation of the many layers of life's journey, current socio – political issues and search of self.
Ceramic always comes with an element of surprise and I have gradually started enjoying the magical transformations that the fired clay is prone off.
